Booking
Three ways to book at Southern Dermatology — online through the booking pill on any page, by phone, or same-day urgent through DermNow. New patients welcome at both offices.
01 · Online
Look for the booking pill in the bottom-right corner of any page on this site. Choose your office, pick a provider or reason for the visit, and select a time. Confirmation arrives by email or text.
02 · Phone
Prefer to talk to someone? Call either office during business hours and the team will help you find a slot that works.
03 · Same-day
If it can't wait — a rapidly worsening rash, a suspected infection, a suspicious lesion, a post-procedure concern — call the office and ask about DermNow. We hold daily slots open at both locations for things that need same-day attention.
New patients
If this is your first visit, plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork. We'll review your skin and medical history, examine the area of concern, and walk you through a treatment plan.
What to bring
Bringing these to your first visit lets the team focus on your skin instead of paperwork. New patients can also complete intake online when the confirmation email arrives.

A driver's license, state ID, or passport — anything with your name and photo. Required for the first visit.

Your current insurance card, front and back. The team will verify benefits before the visit. We're in-network with most major carriers.

A list of prescription and over-the-counter medications you take regularly. This includes supplements, vitamins, and topical creams.

Biopsy results, treatment notes, or photographs from previous dermatology visits, if you have them. Helpful but not required.

If you're being seen for a rash, spot, or skin condition that changes over time, photos from earlier weeks help the team understand the pattern.

Write them down before the visit. The team will answer what you bring in, and refer you to the right specialist if anything is outside our scope.
